How to Tint Your Eyebrows Using Godefroy Eyebrow Tint

If you’re stuck at home, tight for time or looking to save a bit of money, eyebrow tinting at home may be the solution for you. Big bushy eyebrows are a beauty trend, but seeing a professional every few weeks can be expensive especially when you could get the same results at home for a fraction of the price.

Godefroy Eyebrow Tint is a great tint kit to get you started. It has a super quick development time, colour that lasts for weeks, and is cruelty free. Follow these steps to get rich, thicker brows:

  1. Remove any eyebrow makeup

Clean your eyebrows with soap and water, makeup remover or face wipes so no product or residue is left. Pat the eyebrows dry. Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) around the eyebrow to prevent accidental staining of the skin.

  1. Mix the powder and crème developer together

Open the powder capsule carefully by pulling at the ends and empty the powder contents into the mixing cup. Squeeze around ½ teaspoon of crème developer into the mixing cup as well. Use the wooden stick to mix them together until a creamy consistency is formed.

  1. Apply the mixture to the brows

Using the wooden stick, carefully apply the colour onto the eyebrow ensuring every hair is properly coated. For best results, do one eyebrow at a time.

  1. Wait for the colour to develop

Processing times will vary depending on which colour tint you are using, the desired colour result you want to achieve and your hair type. If you have fine or light hair, reduce the time by a half because fine or light hair tends to take up colour more effectively than other hair types.

Here is a guideline:

Jet Black = 3-4 minutes

Natural Black = 2-3 minutes

Dark Brown = 2-3 minutes

Medium Brown = 1-2 minutes

Light Brown = 1-2 minutes

Graphite = 1-2 minutes

  1.  Remove the tint

Once the processing time is up, remove the colour using a damp cotton pad, cloth, wipe or paper towel. Dry the eyebrows as well, as they look darker when they are wet.

  1. Reapply if needed

If you want the colour to go darker, reapply the tint for another 30 secs, and repeat step 4 until you have reached the desired colour.
